How far in advance should/can I book?

For Berlin I book up to 6 months ahead and availability varies, so always check via contact form request indicating the time period you wish to book for relevant dates. For guest spots you can start booking as soon as dates are announced. I usually plan a period of 6 months at a time and current availabilities will be shown here. Guest spots can get booked faster.

Do you send designs ahead of the appointment?

When it comes to bespoke designs, everything is designed with the customer on the spot so it is not possible to send a design beforehand. If you prefer to know the design ahead of time, I may have flash designs or “wannado” projects ready to go. These will be visible, when available, in my gallery. If you are based in Berlin, I am able to offer free in person consultations or paid consultations + concept design (the amount paid will be added to the amount paid as a deposit if you are happy to go ahead).

What about pain management, is it okay to use numbing cream?

I do not oppose the application of numbing cream, especially for trickier spots or for instance in the case of nerve damage (scars, etc). I recommend the brand TKTX and additionally a patch test prior to the session. The application and usage of numbing cream is your sole responsibility.

For bigger pieces other options are available, such as spreading the work over more than one session, usually shorter in length.

Do you do cover ups, blastovers and work over scars?

Yes! I have extensive experience with cover ups and blastovers and I have a lot of fun doing these. Regarding tattooing over scars, I also have experience with these, but a consultation is necessary for each case, so feel free to fill out my form and request an email consultation.

Do you use second-skin? What should I do for after care?

My ideal after care uses absorbent pads and these are proven to deliver the best healing in my experience and that of customers, especially when it comes to large scale pieces. In some circumstances, such as with tricky spots like the neck or fingers, I will suggest the use of second skin. We will take into account any allergies to materials and personally devise an after care plan that suits your particular case. One touch up session is included if needed.

Do I need a deposit to book?

Yes, all bookings require a deposit in order to be confirmed. Deposits are non refundable and are part of the total price of the project. The value of the deposit varies depending on the number of sessions estimated and location you are booking. For Berlin price range, you can check it here. In the case of multiple session projects, deposits are deducted from the final session.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

You may reschedule your appointment up to 2x and you must give me at least 72h notice (for Berlin) and 1 week notice for guest spots.

Do you only use black ink? What about colours?

At the moment I only work with black ink.
